The Curtis Culwell Center is a stunning, state-of-the-art multi-purpose facility located on the George Bush Turnpike between North Garland Avenue and Brand Road in the heart of the Houston metropolitan area. In order to assist event organizers and planners in creating a successful event, the senior management team has over 100 years of combined industry experience.
There are numerous district and community events held at the Curtis Culwell Center, which has more than 195,000 square feet of space to accommodate them. Among the many types of public and private events are graduations, sporting events, concerts, teacher professional development activities, national and regional tournaments, gala dinners, wedding receptions, corporate training sessions, meetings, trade shows, world-class performances, and a slew of other activities.
Those in charge at the center have a combined total of more than 20 years of experience working in comparable environments. As a result, the venue accommodates several hundred events per year.
HKS, Inc., one of the nation’s finest architectural firms, is responsible for the design of the facility. It was this group that was in charge of the design of many of the most noticeable sports and entertainment venues in the DFW Metroplex area. It has collaborated with venues such as the American Airlines Center, The Ballpark at Arlington, Bass Performing Arts Center, Dr Pepper Ballpark, and the Frisco Dr Pepper Stars Center, among others.
The Curtis Culwell Facility, which has over 1,700 nearby, well-lit, and secure parking spaces, consists of an arena and a conference center, which are two separate but interconnected components of a larger complex.
Six thousand eight hundred sixty-five fixed bowl seats and 17,085 square feet of arena floor space are available at the facility. It is possible to configure the arena for both a full-house and a half-house setup. On the south arena wall, there is a large HD video board with a high definition screen.
The top concourse of the arena has a total floor size of more than 18,000 square feet. A stunning panoramic view can be seen by visitors from the many windows that line the north wall. It also has six suites with a view of the arena, as well as two big hospitality suites.
The hospitality suites, located atop the end center of the upper concourse and offering a panoramic view of the arena floor, total approximately 3,200 square feet of area. When attending an event in an attractive glass-enclosed space, large groups can host their own private catered function in addition to the main event. The rooms are fully equipped with monitors, as well as cable television, internet, and voice connections, among other things.
